Jeremia 2:28

Waar zijn toch uw goden, die gij u hebt gemaakt: Laat ze opstaan, als ze u kunnen helpen in tijden van nood. Want even talrijk als uw steden, Zijn uw goden, o Juda!

But where are thy gods that thou hast made thee? let them arise, if they can save thee in the time of thy trouble: for according to the number of thy cities are thy gods, O Judah.
