યર્મિયા 2:2

“તું જઈને યરુશાલેમના કાનોમાં પોકારીને કહે કે, ‘યહોવાહ આ પ્રમાણે કહે છે કે; અરણ્યમાં, ઉજ્જડ પ્રદેશમાં, તું મારી પાછળ ચાલતી હતી, તે વખતે યુવાવસ્થામાં જે તારો પ્રેમ તથા વિવાહસંબંધ થતી વખતની તારી પ્રીતિ તે હું તારા લાભમાં યાદ કરું છું

Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.
