यिर्मयाह 2:20

“क्योंकि बहुत समय पहले मैंने तेरा जूआ तोड़ डाला और तेरे बन्धन खोल दिए; परन्तु तूने कहा, ‘मैं सेवा न करूँगी।’ और सब ऊँचे-ऊँचे टीलों पर और सब हरे पेड़ों के नीचे तू व्यभिचारिणी का सा काम करती रही।

¶ For of old time I have broken thy yoke, and burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I will not transgress; when upon every high hill and under every green tree thou wanderest, playing the harlot.
