Het volk en het koninkrijk nu, dat hem, Nebukadnessar, de koning van Babel, niet zal willen dienstbaar zijn en zijn hals niet zal willen voegen onder het juk van de koning van Babel, over dat volk zal Ik bezoeking doen met het zwaard, de honger en de pest, luidt het woord des Heren, tot Ik hen volkomen in zijn macht zal hebben gebracht.
