ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడు, యెహోవా నాతో ఇలా చెప్పాడు. “కోపంతో నిండి ఉన్న మద్యపాత్రను నువ్వు నా చేతిలోనుంచి తీసుకుని, నేను నిన్ను పంపిస్తున్న రాజ్యాలన్నిటికీ దాన్ని తాగించు.

¶ For thus saith the LORD God of Israel unto me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it.
