यिर्मयाह 25:18

अर्थात् यरूशलेम और यहूदा के नगरों के निवासियों को, और उनके राजाओं और हाकिमों को पिलाया, ताकि उनका देश उजाड़ हो जाए और लोग ताली बजाएँ, और उसकी उपमा देकर श्राप दिया करें; जैसा आजकल होता है।

To wit, Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, an hissing, and a curse; as it is this day;
