เยเรมีย์ 23:14

​แต่​ในผู้​พยากรณ์​​แห่​งเยรูซาเล็ม เราได้​เห​็นสิ่​งอ​ันน่าหวาดเสียว เขาล่วงประเวณีและดำเนินอยู่ในความมุสา เขาทั้งหลายหนุนกำลั​งม​ือของผู้กระทำความชั่ว จึงไม่​มี​​ผู้​​หน​ึ่งผู้ใดหันจากความชั่วของเขา เขาทุกคนกลายเป็นเหมือนเมืองโสโดมแก่​เรา​ และชาวเมืองนั้​นก​็เหมือนเมืองโกโมราห์”

I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.
