லீபனோனில் வாசமாயிருந்து, கேதுருமரங்களில் கூடுகட்டிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறவளே, வேதனைகளும் பிள்ளை பெற்றெடுப்பவளைப்போல வாதையும் உனக்கு வரும்போது, நீ எவ்வளவு பரிதபிக்கப்படத்தக்கவளாக இருப்பாய்

O inhabitant of Lebanon, that makest thy nest in the cedars, how gracious shalt thou be when pangs come upon thee, the pain as of a woman in travail!
