எரேமியா 22:21

நீ சுகமாய் வாழ்ந்திருக்கும்போது நான் உனக்குச் சொன்னேன், நீ கேட்கமாட்டேன் என்றாய்; உன் சிறுவயதுமுதல் நீ என் சத்தத்தைக் கேளாமற்போகிறதே உன் வழக்கம்.

I spake unto thee in thy prosperity; but thou saidst, I will not hear. This hath been thy manner from thy youth, that thou obeyedst not my voice.
