તું દેવદાર વૃક્ષના મહેલો બાંધીને સિદ્ધિ મેળવવા ઇચ્છે છે એથી શું તારું રાજ્ય ટકશે? શું તારા પિતાએ ખાધુંપીધું નહોતું અને નીતિ તથા તે ન્યાયથી વ્યવહાર કરતો નહોતો? તેથી જ તે સુખી થયો.

Shalt thou reign, because thou closest thyself in cedar? did not thy father eat and drink, and do judgment and justice, and then it was well with him?
