ఈ పట్టణంలో ఉండబోయే వాళ్ళు కత్తితో, కరువుతో, అంటురోగంతో చస్తారు. పట్టణం బయటకు వెళ్లి మిమ్మల్ని ముట్టడి వేస్తూ ఉన్న కల్దీయులకు లోబడేవాళ్ళు బతుకుతారు. దోపిడీలాగా వాళ్ళ ప్రాణం దక్కుతుంది.

He that abideth in this city shall die by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence: but he that goeth out, and falleth to the Chaldeans that besiege you, he shall live, and his life shall be unto him for a prey.
