यिर्मयाह 16:6

इस कारण इस देश के छोटे-बड़े सब मरेंगे, न तो इनको मिट्टी दी जाएगी, न लोग छाती पीटेंगे, न अपना शरीर चीरेंगे, और न सिर मुँड़ाएँगे। इनके लिये कोई शोक करनेवालों को रोटी न बाटेंगे कि शोक में उन्हें शान्ति दें;

Both the great and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them:
