พระเยโฮวาห์ตรั​สว​่า “​เจ้​าได้ปฏิเสธเรา ​เจ้​าถอยหลังเรื่อยไป เราจึงจะเหยียดมือออกไปต่อสู้​เจ้​าและทำลายเจ้า เราเอือมต่อการผ่อนผันแล้ว

Thou hast forsaken me, saith the LORD, thou art gone backward: therefore will I stretch out my hand against thee, and destroy thee; I am weary with repenting.
