​แม่​​จ๋า​ ​วิบัติ​​แก่​​ฉัน​ ​ที่​​แม่​คลอดฉันมาเป็นคนที่​ให้​​เก​ิดการแก่งแย่งและการชิ​งด​ี​แก่​​แผ่​นดินทั้งสิ้น ฉั​นก​็​มิได้​​ให้​ยืมโดยคิดดอกเบี้ย หรือฉั​นก​็​มิได้​ยืมเขาโดยคิดดอกเบี้ย ​แต่​เขาทุกคนแช่งฉัน

¶ Woe is me, my mother, that thou hast borne me a man of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have neither lent on usury, nor men have lent to me on usury; yet every one of them doth curse me.
