યર્મિયા 15:10

હે મારી મા, મને અફસોસ! તેં મને આખા જગત સાથે ઝગડો તથા તકરાર કરનાર પુરુષ થવાને જન્મ આપ્યો છે. મેં વ્યાજે ધીર્યું નથી કે તેઓએ મને વ્યાજે આપ્યું નથી, તેમ છતાં તેઓ બધાં મને શાપ આપે છે.

¶ Woe is me, my mother, that thou hast borne me a man of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have neither lent on usury, nor men have lent to me on usury; yet every one of them doth curse me.
