เยเรมีย์ 14:10

พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสแก่​ชนชาติ​​นี้​​ว่า​ “เขาทั้งหลายรักที่จะพเนจรไปอย่างนี้ เขาทั้งหลายไม่ยับยั้งเท้าของเขาไว้ ฉะนั้นพระเยโฮวาห์จึงไม่ทรงรับเขา ​บัดนี้​​พระองค์​จะทรงระลึกถึงความชั่วช้าของเขา และลงโทษการผิดบาปของเขา”

¶ Thus saith the LORD unto this people, Thus have they loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet, therefore the LORD doth not accept them; he will now remember their iniquity, and visit their sins.
