వాళ్ళు ఉపవాసమున్నప్పటికీ నేను వారి మొర వినను. వాళ్ళు దహనబలులూ నైవేద్యాలూ అర్పించినా నేను వాటిని అంగీకరించను. కత్తితో, కరువుతో, అంటువ్యాధులతో వారిని నాశనం చేస్తాను.”

When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not accept them: but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence.
