Jeremia 14:22

Zijn er onder de goden der heidenen, die ‘t laten regenen, Of kan de hemel soms buien geven? Zijt Gij het niet alleen, o Jahweh, onze God, Op wien wij nog hopen, Omdat Gij dit alles verricht?

Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? art not thou he, O LORD our God? therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made all these things.
