യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പ്രത്യാശയും കഷ്ടകാലത്തു അവന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവും ആയുള്ളോവേ, നീ ദേശത്തു പരദേശിയെപ്പോലെയും ഒരു രാപാർപ്പാൻ മാത്രം കൂടാരം അടിക്കുന്ന വഴിപോക്കനെപ്പോലെയും ആയിരിക്കുന്നതെന്തു?

O the hope of Israel, the saviour thereof in time of trouble, why shouldest thou be as a stranger in the land, and as a wayfaring man that turneth aside to tarry for a night?
