യിരെമ്യാവു 14:7

യഹോവ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു വിരോധമായി സാക്ഷീകരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നിന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം പ്രവർത്തിക്കേണമേ; ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിന്മാറ്റങ്ങൾ വളരെയാകുന്നു; ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്നോടു പാപം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

¶ O LORD, though our iniquities testify against us, do thou it for thy name’s sake: for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against thee.
