எரேமியா 13:11

கச்சையானது மனிதனுடைய இடுப்பில் இணைக்கப்பட்டு இருக்கிறதுபோல, நான் இஸ்ரவேல் குடும்பத்தார் அனைவரையும் யூதாவின் குடும்பத்தார் அனைவரையும், எனக்கு மக்களாகவும், கீர்த்தியாகவும், துதியாகவும், மகிமையாகவும் இணைத்துக்கொண்டேன்; ஆனாலும் அவர்கள் கேட்காமற்போனார்கள் என்று யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறார்.

For as the girdle cleaveth to the loins of a man, so have I caused to cleave unto me the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah, saith the LORD; that they might be unto me for a people, and for a name, and for a praise, and for a glory: but they would not hear.
