യിരെമ്യാവു 13:27

നിന്റെ വ്യഭിചാരം, മദഗർജ്ജനം, വേശ്യാവൃത്തിയുടെ വഷളത്വം എന്നീ മ്ലേച്ഛതകളെ ഞാൻ വയലുകളിലെ കുന്നുകളിന്മേൽ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; യെരൂശലേമേ, നിനക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! നിർമ്മലയായിരിപ്പാൻ നിനക്കു മനസ്സില്ല; ഇങ്ങനെ ഇനി എത്രത്തോളം?

I have seen thine adulteries, and thy neighings, the lewdness of thy whoredom, and thine abominations on the hills in the fields. Woe unto thee, O Jerusalem! wilt thou not be made clean? when shall it once be?
