યર્મિયા 13:27

જંગલમાંના પર્વતો પર જારકર્મ, તથા તારો ખોંખારો, તારા વ્યભિચારની બદફેલી તારાં એ ધિક્કારપાત્ર કૃત્યો મેં જોયાં છે. હે યરુશાલેમ, તને અફસોસ! તારે શુદ્ધ થવું જ નથી. ક્યાં સુધી તારી એવી દશા રહેવાની?

I have seen thine adulteries, and thy neighings, the lewdness of thy whoredom, and thine abominations on the hills in the fields. Woe unto thee, O Jerusalem! wilt thou not be made clean? when shall it once be?
