यिर्मयाह 12:13

उन्होंने गेहूँ तो बोया, परन्तु कँटीली झाड़ियाँ काटीं, उन्होंने कष्ट तो उठाया, परन्तु उससे कुछ लाभ न हुआ। यहोवा के क्रोध के भड़कने के कारण वे अपने खेतों की उपज के विषय में लज्जित हो।”

They have sown wheat, but shall reap thorns: they have put themselves to pain, but shall not profit: and they shall be ashamed of your revenues because of the fierce anger of the LORD.
