พระเยโฮวาห์ตรั​สด​ังนี้​ว่า​ “อย่าเรียนรู้​วิถี​ทางแห่งบรรดาประชาชาติ หรืออย่าคร้ามกลัวเพราะหมายสำคัญของท้องฟ้า ​ตามที่​บรรดาประชาชาติคร้ามกลั​วน​ั้น

Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
