గిద్యోను “మీలో ప్రతివాడూ తన దోపుడు సొమ్ములో ఉన్న చెవి పోగులను నాకు ఇవ్వండి అని మనవి చేస్తున్నాను” అన్నాడు. (మిద్యానీయులు ఇష్మాయేలీయులు గనుక వాళ్ళ చెవులకు పోగులు ఉన్నాయి.)
