அதற்குக் கிதியோன்: நான் உங்களை ஆளமாட்டேன்; என்னுடைய மகனும் உங்களை ஆளமாட்டான்; யெகோவாவே உங்களை ஆளுவாராக என்றான்.

And Gideon said unto them, I will not rule over you, neither shall my son rule over you: the LORD shall rule over you.
