ન્યાયાધીશો 8:27

ગિદિયોને કુંડળોનું એક એફોદ બનાવ્યું અને પોતાના નગર ઓફ્રામાં તે મૂક્યું અને સર્વ ઇઝરાયલીઓએ તેની ઉપાસના કરીને પોતાને વ્યભિચારમાં વટાળ્યાં. તે ગિદિયોનને તથા તેના કુટુંબને માટે ફાંદારૂપ થઈ પડ્યું.

And Gideon made an ephod thereof, and put it in his city, even in Ophrah: and all Israel went thither a whoring after it: which thing became a snare unto Gideon, and to his house.
