ત્યારે ઇઝરાયલના માણસોએ ગિદિયોનને કહ્યું, “તું અમારા પર રાજ કર. તું, તારો દીકરો તથા તારા દીકરાનો દીકરો - કેમ કે મિદ્યાનના હાથમાંથી તેં અમને ઉગાર્યા છે.”

¶ Then the men of Israel said unto Gideon, Rule thou over us, both thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son also: for thou hast delivered us from the hand of Midian.
