Sinabi ni Yahweh kay Gideon, “Sa pamamagitan ng tatlong daang kalalakihan sumalok at uminom, ililigtas ko kayo at bibigyan ng tagumpay laban sa mga Midianita. Hayaang bumalik ang ibang mga kalalakihan sa kani-kanilang lugar.”
