நியாயாதிபதிகள் 7:5

அப்படியே அவன் மக்களைத் தண்ணீரின் அருகே இறங்கிப்போகச்செய்தான்; அப்பொழுது யெகோவா கிதியோனை நோக்கி: தண்ணீரை ஒரு நாய் நக்குவதுபோல அதைத் தன்னுடைய நாவினாலே நக்குகிறவன் எவனோ அவனைத் தனியாகவும், குடிக்கிறதற்கு முழங்கால் ஊன்றிக் குனிகிறவன் எவனோ, அவனைத் தனியாகவும் நிறுத்து என்றார்.

So he brought down the people unto the water: and the LORD said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to drink.
