และพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงหันมาหาเขาตรั​สว​่า “จงไปช่วยคนอิสราเอลให้พ้นจากเงื้อมมือพวกมีเดียนด้วยกำลังของเจ้านี่​แหละ​ เราใช้​เจ้​าให้ไปแล้ว ​มิใช่​​หรือ​”

And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?
