மீதியானியர்களின் கை இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் பெலமாக இருந்தபடியால், இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் மீதியானியர்களினால் தங்களுக்கு மலைகளிலுள்ள கெபிகளையும் குகைகளையும் பாதுகாப்பான இடங்களையும் அடைக்கலங்களாக்கிக்கொண்டார்கள்.

And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel: and because of the Midianites the children of Israel made them the dens which are in the mountains, and caves, and strong holds.
