અને જે સમયે ઇઝરાયલીઓ વાવણી કરતા, ત્યારે એમ થતું કે, મિદ્યાનીઓ, અમાલેકીઓ તથા પૂર્વ દિશાના લોકો તેઓ પર ચઢી આવતા.
