యెహోవా మోషే ద్వారా వాళ్ళ తండ్రులకు ఇచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞలు వాళ్ళు అనుసరిస్తారో లేదో తెలుసుకోవాలని ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను పరీక్షించడానికి ఈ జాతులను ఆయన ఉండనిచ్చాడు.
