இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் மறுபடியும் யெகோவாவின் பார்வைக்குத் தீமையானதைச் செய்தார்கள்; அவர்கள் யெகோவாவின் பார்வைக்குத் தீமையானதைச் செய்தபடியால், யெகோவா எக்லோன் என்னும் மோவாபின் ராஜாவை இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு எதிராக பெலனடையச் செய்தார்.

¶ And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD strengthened Eglon the king of Moab against Israel, because they had done evil in the sight of the LORD.
