GIUDICI 3:1

Ora queste son le genti, che il Signore lasciò per provar con esse Israele, cioè tutti quelli che non aveano avuta conoscenza di tutte le guerra di Canaan;

Now these are the nations which the LORD left, to prove Israel by them, even as many of Israel as had not known all the wars of Canaan;
