પણ જયારે ઇઝરાયલના લોકોએ ઈશ્વર આગળ પોકાર કર્યો, ત્યારે ઈશ્વરે તેમની મદદ કરવા બિન્યામીની ગેરાનો દીકરો એહૂદને તેઓની મદદ માટે ઊભો કર્યો. તે ડાબોડીઓ હતો. ઇઝરાયલના લોકોએ તેની હસ્તક મોઆબના રાજા એગ્લોન પર નજરાણું મોકલ્યું.
