Domarboken 2:10

Och även hela den generationen samlades till sina fäder [hade dött] och det uppstod en ny generation efter dem som inte kände (var intimt förtrogna med) Herren (Jahveh) eller hans gärningar som han hade gjort för Israel.

And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the LORD, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel.
