இஸ்ரவேல் போர்வீரர்களைவிட்டு, வனாந்திரத்திற்குப் போகிற வழிக்கு நேராகத் திரும்பி ஓடிப்போனார்கள்; ஆனாலும் யுத்தம் அவர்களைத் தொடர்ந்தது; இஸ்ரவேல் போர்வீரர்கள் நகரங்களில் இருந்து வெளியே வந்து அவர்கள் நின்ற இடங்களிலேயே அவர்களைக் கொன்றுபோட்டார்கள்.

Therefore they turned their backs before the men of Israel unto the way of the wilderness; but the battle overtook them; and them which came out of the cities they destroyed in the midst of them.
