కనానీయుల మీదికి యూదావారు యుద్ధానికి వెళ్ళినప్పుడు యెహోవా కనానీయులను, పెరిజ్జీయులను వారికి అప్పగించాడు గనుక వాళ్ళు బెజెకు ప్రాంతంలో పదివేలమందిని హతం చేశారు.

And Judah went up; and the LORD delivered the Canaanites and the Perizzites into their hand: and they slew of them in Bezek ten thousand men.
