Hakim-hakim 1:16

Waktu suku Yehuda meninggalkan kota Yeriko (yang juga disebut kota Pohon Kurma), orang-orang Keni— yaitu keturunan dari mertua Musa— ikut bersama mereka menuju ke padang belantara di bagian selatan wilayah Yehuda. Orang-orang Keni itu menetap di antara suku Yehuda di dekat kota Arad, di Negeb.

¶ And the children of the Kenite, Moses’ father in law, went up out of the city of palm trees with the children of Judah into the wilderness of Judah, which lieth in the south of Arad; and they went and dwelt among the people.
