அந்த முதியவர் தன்னுடைய கண்களை ஏறெடுத்துப் பட்டணத்து வீதியில் அந்த பயணியைப் பார்த்து: எங்கே போகிறாய், எங்கேயிருந்து வந்தாய் என்று கேட்டான்.

And when he had lifted up his eyes, he saw a wayfaring man in the street of the city: and the old man said, Whither goest thou? and whence comest thou?
