Och de svarade, de fem männen som gått för att genomsöka (bespeja, spionera på) området vid Lajish område, och sa till sina bröder: ”Vet ni att i detta hus finns en efod [prästerlig klädnad, se 2 Mos 28:4-6] och [några] husgudar (figuriner – hebr. terafim) [Dom 17:5] och en skuren avbild och en gjuten avbild [Dom 17:3]? Och nu, vet (betänk) vad ni ska göra.”

¶ Then answered the five men that went to spy out the country of Laish, and said unto their brethren, Do ye know that there is in these houses an ephod, and teraphim, and a graven image, and a molten image? now therefore consider what ye have to do.
