De fem männen som hade varit ute för att speja i landet vid Laish sade då till sina bröder: ”Vet ni att i ett av husen här finns en efod och husgudar och en snidad och en gjuten gudabild? Så överväg nu vad ni bör göra.”

¶ Then answered the five men that went to spy out the country of Laish, and said unto their brethren, Do ye know that there is in these houses an ephod, and teraphim, and a graven image, and a molten image? now therefore consider what ye have to do.
