और उन्होंने उस नगर का नाम इस्राएल के एक पुत्र अपने मूलपुरुष दान के नाम पर दान रखा; परन्तु पहले तो उस नगर का नाम लैश था।

And they called the name of the city Dan, after the name of Dan their father, who was born unto Israel: howbeit the name of the city was Laish at the first.
