ฝ่ายเจ้านายฟีลิสเตียประชุมกันเพื่อถวายเครื่องสัตวบู​ชาย​ิ่งใหญ่​แก่​พระดาโกนพระของเขาทั้งหลายและชื่นชมยินดี เพราะเขากล่าวว่า “พระของเราได้มอบแซมสันศั​ตรู​ของเราไว้ในมือเราแล้ว”
