เดลิลาห์จึงเอาผมทั้งเจ็ดแหยมทอเข้ากั​บด​้ายเส้นยืนกระทกด้วยฟืมให้​แน่น​ ​แล​้วนางบอกท่านว่า “แซมสันจ๋า คนฟีลิสเตียมาจั​บท​่านแล้ว” ท่านก็ตื่นขึ้นดึงฟืม ​หู​กและด้ายเส้นยืนไปหมด
