ఫిలిష్తీయుల అధికారులు “మన దేవుడు మన శత్రువైన సంసోనును జయించి మన చేతికి అప్పగించాడు” అని చెప్పుకుని, వారి దేవుడైన దాగోనుకు గొప్ప బలి అర్పించడానికీ, పండగ చేసుకోడానికీ ఒక చోట చేరారు.
