அப்பொழுது சிம்சோன் யெகோவாவை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டு: யெகோவாவாகிய ஆண்டவரே, நான் என்னுடைய இரண்டு கண்களுக்காக ஒரே முடிவாகப் பெலிஸ்தர்கள் கையிலே பழிவாங்கும்படி, இந்த ஒருமுறைமட்டும் என்னை நினைத்தருளும், தேவனே பெலப்படுத்தும் என்று சொல்லி,

And Samson called unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.
